Yes, I mostly wrote this piece to try to imagine how Sara started down the 'rogue' path. I couldn't imagine Leandra being for it, given that she had no such need to defend herself. But I imagine Malcolm as more of a mercenary type, who thinks it's necessary for everyone to be able to defend themselves in such a world. And since Sara didn't have the in-built abilities of a mage....
On another note, this makes me think that Leandra must have been well-educated, and it was probably on that level that her and Malcolm connected. I should explore that sometime. :)
